Copyright and content complaints
If something on the platform copies your work or shows you without your permission, write to us here. Notices are accepted from anywhere in the world.

What kind of complaint belongs here?
Plain answer: Your copyrighted work, or your own face, used without permission.
- Copyright
- Material uploaded to the platform, such as a picture or a clip, that copies something you created and own.
- Your likeness
- A profile or upload that uses your picture without your agreement, or someone posing as you.
Anyone who uploads must have the right to post it. If an upload breaks someone else’s rights, the person who uploaded it carries the responsibility for that.
What should my notice contain?
Plain answer: An email to support titled Copyright, with these four things.
Send it to [email protected] and put “Copyright” in the subject. Tell us:
- exactly where it appears, such as the profile name or the screen where you found it;
- which of your works it reproduces, or that the photo shows you;
- what gives you the rights, or that you are the person pictured;
- that you believe the use was not permitted, plus your name (or your organization) and how to reply to you.
There is no need to quote any specific law. We can only act on a notice that tells us where to look, so precise location beats long explanation.
What do you do with a notice?
Plain answer: We check it. Infringing material can come down, and the uploader’s account can be limited.
Each notice gets a look. If the material does break someone’s rights or our rules, it may be taken down or hidden, and the uploader’s account can receive a warning, a limit, a suspension or a permanent closure, scaled to how serious the problem is and whether it has happened before.
Something of mine was taken down. Can I challenge it?
Plain answer: Yes. Reply by email and explain why you were entitled to post it.
Write to the same address, say which item was removed and set out why you believe posting it was allowed. Deliberately false notices and deliberately false challenges are both an abuse of this process.
Why are other brand names mentioned on this site?
Plain answer: Only to describe or compare services. Rights holders are welcome to contact us.
Ome TV Online has no affiliation with OmeTV or the company that owns it. Other services appear on these pages only so that we can describe them or compare them fairly. If you act for a brand owner and are unhappy with how a name or mark appears here, write to the same address with “Trademark” in the subject.
My problem is someone’s behavior, not a file. Where do I go?
Plain answer: Report and block in the call; minors go through child safety.
For harassment, nudity or a possible minor in a call, report and block from inside the app; the rules are in the community guidelines. Concerns about a child belong on the child safety page. What permission you give us when you post something is explained in the terms of service.
