Cookie policy
The detailed version of the cookie section in our privacy policy: what gets stored in your browser, the single analytics tool we run, and how to turn things off.

What do you mean by cookies?
Plain answer: Little pieces of data kept in your browser, including local storage.
A cookie is a small piece of data a site leaves in your browser so it can recognise the same visit or device later. Local storage and similar features do a comparable job in a different spot, and we treat them the same way here. For the wider picture, see the privacy policy.
What do the cookies on this site do?
Plain answer: Some keep things running, some remember choices, and one set measures visits.
- Strictly necessary
- Hold your login or guest session, protect against misuse and keep the session stable. Turn these off and matching or your account will misbehave.
- Preferences
- Keep settings such as language or display choices, so they survive until your next visit.
- Measurement
- Count visits and page use anonymously. The only tool doing this here is Google Analytics.
When does Google Analytics run?
Plain answer: Only once you click Accept all on the banner.
We use it to learn which pages people read, which links bring them here, and where something has broken. What we see are totals and trends rather than a picture of any one person.
The banner on your first visit asks first. Before you pick “Accept all”, Google Analytics writes nothing to your device and receives no identifying data, only a note that consent is missing. Pick “Essential only” and it stays that way. The browser keeps your answer, so the banner does not come back every time.
Prefer to block it on every website at once? Google offers an add-on for that: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Using it changes nothing about how Ome TV Online works for you.
How do I switch things off or change my answer?
Plain answer: The button below handles analytics; browser settings handle everything else.
All the major browsers can refuse cookies, wipe them, or clear everything one site has stored. Look in your browser’s settings or help section. If you clear or refuse the strictly necessary ones, expect to be logged out and for matching to stop working until you allow them again.
Will this page change?
Plain answer: Only alongside the privacy policy, and the date at the top will show it.
If we add or drop a tool, this page and the privacy policy get updated together and the review date changes. Questions: [email protected].
